New Patient Information
Your first visit is about one thing: finding out what is actually causing your problem, and telling you honestly whether we can help.
What your first visit looks like
Plan on about 45 minutes. Nothing is rushed, and nothing is decided before Dr. Scott has looked at your spine properly.
- We listen. You will sit down with Dr. Jon Scott and walk through your history, your symptoms, what makes it worse, and what you have already tried.
- We examine. A comprehensive chiropractic and neurological exam, including orthopedic and postural testing, to find where the problem starts rather than where it hurts.
- X-rays, if they are warranted. Taken and reviewed on site. Dr. Scott analyzes them with Chiropractic BioPhysics (CBP) X-ray marking, so your structure is measured against its normal alignment rather than estimated.
- You get a straight answer. Dr. Scott shows you what he found and explains what it means. If chiropractic care is not the right fit for your problem, he will tell you that.
Please note: your first adjustment happens at a separate follow-up visit. That is deliberate — Dr. Scott reviews your imaging and builds your plan before he adjusts you.
What to bring
- Photo ID and your insurance card
- Any recent imaging or reports you already have (X-ray, MRI, CT)
- A list of medications and supplements you take
- Shorts or loose clothing if your complaint is lower-back, hip or leg related
Paperwork
There is no paperwork to download or print. Your intake forms are completed through our online booking system when you reserve your appointment, or in the office if you would rather do it here. If you booked by phone and want to fill everything in beforehand, just say so when you call and we will send you the link.
The $45 new patient visit
Your consultation, comprehensive exam and X-rays (if clinically necessary) are $45. Please mention the offer when you call. The adjustment itself is a separate follow-up visit, and the offer excludes Medicare, personal-injury, auto-accident and workers’ compensation cases.
