Common questions
What does sciatica actually feel like?
Usually pain that travels from the lower back or buttock down the back of the leg, often with numbness, tingling or weakness. It is typically one-sided and can be worse when sitting.
Can chiropractic help sciatica?
Frequently, when the cause is mechanical — a disc, joint or pelvic problem irritating the nerve. The exam determines whether that is the case for you before any care begins.
Do I need an MRI first?
Not usually. Dr. Scott examines you and takes X-rays if clinically warranted. If your presentation suggests something requiring advanced imaging or another specialty, he will refer you.
How soon can I be seen?
