Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What is a Chiropractor?

A chiropractor is a healthcare professional who focuses on the detection and correction of spinal subluxations (misalignments) throughout the spine.

What do I need to bring?

Be prepared to provide your previous medical or surgical history. If you have them and if they are relevant bring scan/MRI reports, and list of medication. You may wish to bring shorts and t-shirt.

How many visits will I need?

The number of adjustments will vary depending on the problem and individual. After a thorough assessment, the chiropractor will discuss their care plan for the rehabilitation process.

What should I wear to my appointment?

Loose and comfortable clothing having little to no metal is appropriate.

How do I make an appointment?

You can get in touch by phone (865-693-1911) or use the form under the contact page. Alternatively use the quick and easy online booking page, which is the method we prefer.

Do I have to be referred by a doctor?

No, you do not need to be referred by a medical doctor to pursue chiropractic care.  Most insurances cover chiropractic without medical referrals.

Treatment duration depends on your diagnosis, the severity of your impairments, your past medical history, and other factors. Re-evaluations will be done to assess your progress and your chiropractor communicates with your physician to help you achieve your goals.

We see and treat patient for a wide range of conditions and diagnoses. Some of those include back pain, neck pain, migraines, sciatica, vertigo, dizziness and more.

We will check with your health insurance provider to determine if chiropractic services are covered under your plan. We recommend that you confirm your insurance coverage.
