What to Expect During Your First Visit
Your First Visit starts with a thorough Consultation, Examination and any Necessary X-rays
To ensure that you are in the right office, you will have a thorough consultation discussing your condition. You will have an examination that will check your posture and ranges of motion. You will undergo a series of orthopedic, neurologic and chiropractic tests. Any necessary x-rays will be taken.
Dr. Scott will review your results and discuss the best options for care
Dr. Scott will diagnose and analyze your x-rays and review the results with you, so that you will know exactly where your problem is coming from. Then he will discuss with you a step-by-step process to get you from where you are to where you need to be in the shortest amount of time possible with check points along the way.
Next you will receive chiropractic care, home stretches and exercise that are specific to you.
During the course of your care you will be provided stretches to improve range of motion and to get function back to the areas being worked on. Then you will be given exercises that are specific to your posture to reinforce the chiropractic care. Lastly, if necessary you will be given spinal orthotics to further aide in the correction of your condition.
Lastly, throughout your care, you will be given other tools to help you get better quicker and stay better longer
